Sri Hanuraga (Aga)

The pianist known as Sri Hanuraga (Aga), who was born on December 24, 1985, in Jakarta, first picked up the guitar from his father, a classical guitarist. At the age of 11, Aga also began studying classical piano with the help of his father. Only after seeing a video of a progressive rock band called Emerson, Lake & Palmer at the age of 13 did he get interested in the piano. He was compelled to shift from playing the guitar to the piano by Keith Emerson. Since then, he has frequently performed at important festivals on the piano and with progressive rock and fusion bands, including in 2002 at the AMI Sharp Award.
