Still incorporating elements of rock and roll, fusion, progressive, experimental, and rock, a finished album was released at the end of 2017 with sounds that are certain to please our ears. This dynamic trio have created an eye opening scenery within the music events around Indoneisa.

Ligro

A new album has been released that contains complex jazz rock components. A group by the name of Ligro presented the recording titled "Ligro Dictionary I." Agam Hamzah (electric/acoustic guitar), Adi Darmawan (electric bass), and Gusti Hendi make up the ensemble, which was founded in 2004. (drums).

Gerald Situmorang

Gerald Situmorang is an Indonesian musician who was born on May 31, 1989. He is best known as a guitarist, but he also plays bass in the Barasuara band. He has two solo instrumental guitar albums, Dimension (2018) and Solitude (2017). He also has the Gerald Situmorang Trio, a jazz group and have worked with Sri Hanuraga, the pianist.

Gerald Situmorang & Sri Hanuraga

In February 2019, Gerald Situmorang and Sri Hanuraga released their eagerly anticipated album, named Meta. Since 2015, they have been contemplating the idea for the album. They are experimenting with unconventional timbre, form, and texture for a jazz guitar-piano duo. On the CD, Hanuraga performs on a prepared piano while Situmorang expands the realm of possibility with sound effects. By creating areas for improvisation, they hope to take their music beyond the foundation of jazz tradition.

Rega

Rega Dauna

Rega Dauna, who was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, began playing the piano and harmonica when he was ten years old. Since 2009 to 2013, he received an invitation to play at the Java Jazz Festival. He has also recorded alongside notable musicians from Indonesia, including Vidi Aldiano, Citra Scholastika and the Erwin Eutawa Big Band. In 2012 during Java Jazz Festival, Rega performed with Twilite Orchestra. Rega studied harmonica on his own, but he was mostly taught music by his father, Glen Dauna, an Indonesian jazz pianist.
